This limited edition pre-owned replica pays homage to an icon that remains perhaps the world's most instantly recognizable guitar. Every last nick, ding, scratch, and cigarette burn has been faithfully replicated so as to be virtually undistinguishable from the original, including Eddie's iconic red-white-and-black striped paint job. Other unique features include screw-eye strap hooks, a 1971 quarter by the bridge, masking tape along the lower bout, and reflectors on the back. The neck is an unvarnished, wide/thin shape, cosmetically worn to feel like the original, and the Frankenstein Humbucker pickup sounds like nothing else.
The guitar comes with a great set of extras including an Anvil flight case, certificate of authenticity signed by Eddie, a letter from Eddie, signed 8x10 photo, a DVD showing the making of the Frankenstein guitar, and EVH picks. This instrument is in overall excellent condition.
