Ever since 1958, when Gibson introduced the first semi-hollowbody electric guitar, the timeless ES-335, the company's engineers have been fine-tuning the concept of combining the classic look of a hollowbody with the performance of a solidbody. This pre-owned CS-356 has achieved that goal. It features a single piece Mahogany body that tonally carves the back, rims and center block from one piece of wood. Added to that are the Flame Maple top and Ebony fretboard to give the guitar a gorgeous look with plenty of tone to match.
