Released in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the venerable 1959 Les Paul Standard, here is a pre-owned ’09 Custom Shop ’59 Les Paul reissue in a Cherry Sunburst finish. The guitar is built to the standard Les Paul spec with a solid mahogany body, beautiful flame maple top, chunky-but-not-so-much-so mahogany neck, and two Burstbucker pickups. This guitar is in excellent condition, and includes the gold Certificate of Authenticity that came with the original run of Cherry Sunburst and Dark Burst 50th Anniversary ’59 Les Pauls.
