The Gibson Custom Shop's reissue Les Pauls are known for their great feel and authentic features that make them perfect for players and collectors alike. This pre-owned 1959 Reissue plays just like a well loved model from the golden age of Les Pauls! The carved Flame Maple top is mated to the Mahogany back for a tone and sustain that players love. The Mahogany neck is topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard that's inlaid with traditional Trapezoid inlays. The Iced Tea nitrocellulose lacquer finish perfectly accentuates the figuring of the maple top. Dual BurstBucker pickups are wired to traditional Gibson controls for easy access to your favorite tones. This instrument is in overall very good condition, with some light players wear, including some small dings on the back. The Red dye on the back is faded slightly, and the sides of the headstock show some finish clouding from a foam hanger.
