Hired by Leo Fender in 1948, George Fullerton was one of the key people at Fender. He assisted Leo in designing some of the companies timeless instruments, including the Stratocaster. This pre-owned 2011 Limited Edition instrument is a replication of the vision Fullerton had for the prototype Strat. With its "space-age" black-anodized pickguard and chrome control plate with knurled dome knobs, this Strat is truly one of a kind. A 9.5" fretboard radius and narrow jumbo frets provide enhanced modern day playability. The guitar is loaded with a set of Abby Ybarra's handwound Stratocaster pickups, for the ultimate is Strat tone. This instrument is in overall excellent condition.
