This is a great looking '65 Strat reissue, built by the talented Greg Fessler at the Fender Custom Shop in 2011. This '65 Strat has a relic Fiesta Red finish over an ash body, a quartersawn maple neck with a tinted lacquer finish, dark Indian rosewood fretboard with modern sized 6105 frets, and a trio of Custom Shop 1969 Strat pickups. The previous owner of the instrument had a Suhr SSC system installed, which swaps the backplate out and adds a dummy coil to the guitar - to give you single-coil chime without single-coil hum. The guitar is in excellent condition with all relic work original to how it looked when it left the Custom Shop, and includes the original backplate should you want to return the guitar to stock without the SSC system.
