This pre-owned Les Paul was part of a really cool limited run of signature guitars in 2011 - the Marc Bolan Tribute Les Paul Custom. This Les Paul is an exact replica of Bolans own Les Paul, which was a mix-match of a '50s body and a '70s neck, due to his breaking the original neck. The Bolan Les Paul features a distinct Bolan Chablis finish on a maple top, 1-piece solid mahogany body, 1-piece mahogany neck, thin rounded neck profile, 1.687" nut width, ebony fretboard with block inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, Custom Bucker humbuckers with 500k audio-tape pots and 022mF "Bumble Bee" caps, a nickel-plated ABR-1 bridge with a gold-plated stopbar tailpiece, and gold-plated Grover kidney tuners.
The guitar is in excellent condition, with no dents, dings or fretwear to be seen. All aging on the guitar is original to how the Custom Shop intended. The Bolan Chablis finish looks great, and really makes this guitar stand out from other Les Paul Customs, and let's not forget the Custom Buckers which nail that '70s mid-rangey Glam Rock tone.
