Warren Haynes is one of the hardest working men in music today. From fronting Gov't Mule, to his legendary run with the Allman Bros., to his extensive sideman work with scores of artists, Warren demands a lot of of his instruments. This pre-owned Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard aims to keep up with Warren's demanding schedule. The classic Maple top is finished in a signature Haynes Burst that lets the subtleties of the grain shine through. The solid Mahogany body is mated to a Mahogany neck for tons of huge sustain and tone. The dual Burstbucker pickups, a BB1 in the neck and a BB2 in the bridge, provide plenty of firepower for weverything from smoldering blues, to jazz, to hard rock, and everything in between. A CAE unity-gain buffer keeps your tone going strong even when you turn down the volume controls, or if you're plugged into an extra long cable run. This instrument is in overall very good condition. There is some light finish swirling throughout, as well as some light buckle marks on the back. There is a small scratch on the top near the neck joint, along with some superficial pencil point-sized dings. There is a chip on the corner of the headstock as shown in the photographs. The original owner changed out the strap buttons, but we're including the originals here.
