This is a pre-owned Gibson Sparrow model, an upgrade of sorts from the Gibson Dove that was a Musicians Friend exclusive. The Sparrow saw the square shouldered dreadnought body paired with an Adirondack spruce top along with Indian rosewood back and sides to provide a warm and complex acoustic tone. Along with a multi-ply herringbone top inlay, double ring rosette, and an LR Baggs Element pickup underneath the tusq saddle, this guitar is built for classic looks and an excellent sound. The guitar has a light check on the back of the body – no other major wear or dings, dents, or scratches to be seen.
