The Story

Used 2013 L-2 Tribute Acoustic Guitar Antique Natural

Here we have a pre-owned and played but not abused Gibson L-2 Tribute acoustic guitar, built in 2013. The guitar is still in overall excellent condition with little wear on it, just some dings and markings around the top of the body. These small body acoustics were the catalyst for the original American Blues, a sound that would forever change the direction of popular music. This very rare and collectable model combines the body of the famous L-1 blues guitar from 1926 with the upgraded details and materials of a rare 1929 L-2 model.

Gibson Montana has included vintage-correct detailing like a dovetail neck joint, hide glue construction, traditionally scalloped X bracing, and a traditional rosewood rectangle bridge with an open-slot bone saddle for an authentic experience with a 1920’s guitar. An Adirondack red spruce top delivers a blend of warmth and presence that other tops just don’t come close to, and the mahogany neck has a period-correct “V” profile that is perfect for playin’ the blues!

Includes: Hardshell Case
