This is a pre-owned Gibson USA Slash Signature Les Paul with a Rossa Corso finish, a new color for the guitars run in 2013. With this signature model, Gibson took the tried and true Les Paul specs, and added some appointments and features that met the approval of the legend himself. Commemorative details include the distinctive Slash graphic on the headstock and Seymour Duncan “Slash Signature” humbucking pickups.
These pickups have been made under the precise requirements of Slash, starting with PAF-style humbuckers, using Alnico magnets, but with a few extra turns for a richer, throatier tone in the neck position and plenty of crunch and wail in the bridge. Orange drop tone caps are used on the tone pots for Slash’s preferred high end roll-off. A high quality TonePros Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece deliver exacting intonation and plenty of sustain. Add in a grade-AAA top under this signature finish and you’ve got an axe that looks as great as it sounds, and is still in overall excellent condition with the original case included!
