This slick-looking used Gretsch G6136TBK Black Falcon is a hollowbody with character in all departments. Constructed as a faithful tribute to Gretsch’s legendary Falcon guitars from the 50’s, this 2013 Black Falcon features all the appointments of a vintage guitar with added efficiency of modern wiring and electronics. Equipped with two High Sensitive Filtertron Humbuckers, the tone can run from balanced clean notes to biting, voluminous overdriven chords with that classic hollowbody sustain. The Bigsby B6GB vibrato makes it a breeze to dish out those rockabilly melodies or even just a subtle chord bend, and the gold hardware is an attractive match to the striking black finish. Complete gold-sparkle headstock inlays and multi-ply body binding, this Black Falcon offers plenty for the classic guitar fan as much as it does the modern player. This guitar is in very good condition with light surface swirling around the body, no major dents, dings, or scratches that go down to the wood.
