Here we have a used and very recently made Taylor 522e with a natural finish, built in 2014. The 522e has a lot of punch and midrange thanks to the mahogany body, and this guitar is in excellent condition with little to no wear to be seen on it.
Mahogany has been an extremely valued tonewood for instrument makers for decades. With a meaty midrange, and strong emphasis on the fundamental frequencies, it delivers a strong, direct sound.
