This is a pre-owned K26ce, made in 2014. The guitar is in excellent condition with little to no wear to be seen on it, and we're loving the symmetrical appearance of the figuring in the koa top. Only found in the Hawaiian islands, Koa is an absolutely unique looking tonewood. The word Koa is Hawaiian for "bold", and can be applied to the sound as much as the striking grain texture. It is noted as being bright and focused, with warm overtones. Introducing the K26ce, Taylor pays homage to this exotic wood with a Grand Symphony body that is completely Koa, with a gorgeous handpicked AA top. The large lower bout of this guitar gives fullness to all strumming styles, yet it's completely responsive to light picking.
