Here we have a pre-owned and still in overall excellent condition D-35E 50th Anniversary model, built in 2015. Introduced in 1965, the Martin D-35E took the Dreadnought design to the next level with a three-piece rosewood back. At the time it was the company's solution to a scarcity of quality rosewood lumber. This 50th Anniversary model features special East Indian rosewood construction for the back and sides, as well as a gorgeous curved East Indian rosewood center wedge in the back. A VTC torrefied European Spruce top provides amazing projection and an understated, yet beautiful look. European flame maple binding and Style-28 rosette complete the visual package, while Fishman Aura VT electronics provide amazing plugged-in tone. The guitar includes the original Martin hard case!
