Here’s a pre-owned Taylor 814ce Wildwood Spec guitar. The fine folks at Wildwood had Taylor build some 814ce’s with Adirondack Spruce bracing, which adds a bit more of a natural woody attack to the guitars sound, and a bit more in the frequency spread – helping you to be heard in any situation. It's built with a Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides, a classic combination that delivers great warmth and midrange but also plenty of top-end. Details include rosewood purfling that outlines the top and frames the abalone rosette, a rosewood pickguard, a new "Element" fretboard inlay, and a marbled Ebony fretboard on a Mahogany neck. An ultra-thin gloss finish gives the wood a chance to really breathe, leading to a more open sound and allowing the aging process to go unhindered. The Grand Auditorium body shape, meanwhile, is greatly versatile, projecting loud and clear when strummed but also responsive to the nuances of fingerpicking and light flatpicking. With onboard Taylor Expression System 2 electronics, its a guitar you can use on stage, in the studio, or in a coffeehouse. This guitar is in excellent condition, and includes the original hardshell case.
