This used Taylor 800 series GS features a gorgeous, luxurious look with a sound to match! The 816e is given a custom bracing structure that results in a looser, more luxurious low end. The guitar is built with a Sitka spruce top, a rosewood back and sides, a tropical mahogany neck, and an ebony fretboard. An ultra-thin gloss finish gives the wood a chance to really breath, leading to a more open sound and allowing the aging process to go unhindered. The 816e is also constructed with a protein glue that enhances the tonal transfer between woods. This guitar is in overall excellent condition with no major wear on it, and includes the original hardshell case.
