Product Description
This guitar is a pre-owned Custom Shop '59 Esquire Toploader, originally sold by The Music Zoo and back to find a new home. The guitar was sent back to Fender to have a rout for a neck pickup, and for a short time lived as a Telecaster with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity neck pickup. It's back to being an Esquire with a new pickguard, and has the Tele pickguard and pickup included in the case. It's still in overall excellent condition! This Esquire combines vintage style, relic looks, and modern materials for a guitar that looks and feels as good as it sounds! The maple neck and ash body have both undergone a roasting process that eliminates excess moisture and sugars for rock-solid stability and extra punchy tones. The appointments are all 50's style, with a 3-Tone Sunburst finish, a six-saddle bridge, and vintage-style controls.
