This Goldtop is in excellent shape with little to no wear on it, and includes the original case and certificate of authenticity. The double carved Maple top is mated to the Mahogany back with hide glue for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard that features hand-rolled binding to get this guitar as close to original specifications as possible. All the small details from the Top Hat control knobs, to the authentically shaded plastics, to the classic Les Paul peghead veneer have been carefully recreated. The thin Vintage Antique Gold nitrocellulose lacquer finish is wet sanded by hand for a vintage style look and feel. Softer vintage edge profiles throughout, including the fingerboard edges and body binding edges give the guitar a comfortable feel.
