Here we have a pre-owned 2016 reissue of the original “Dot Neck” ES-335 of 1958. The ’58 ES-335 was built with that classic looking “Mickey Mouse Ears” body shape and contours, unbound mahogany neck with dot inlays, single-ring Kluson tuners, and hot hide glue used for the centerblock and bracing. The guitar has a traditional “C” neck profile, two MHS humbuckers, and a historic no-tube truss rod. An excellent 335 for any Gibson semi-hollowbody enthusiast. The guitar is in very good condition - there is some lacquer cracking around the fretboard edges on the bass side, mostly around the 9-10th frets, and includes the original case and certificate.
