The '64 ES-345 from Gibson Memphis is a period-correct reissue of this great semi-hollowbody classic. Historically, the 345 is similar in most ways to an ES-335. The differences pertain to circuitry and appointments. Specifically, the 345 was built with split parallelogram fret inlays, gold hardware, and a Varitone circuit, and stereo outputs. For the reissue, the stereo output feature wasn't included, but otherwise this Memphis 345 looks, feels, sounds, and breathes like the original. Features include the classic Varitone rotary switch, MHS Alnico humbucker pickups, and a slim '60s neck. This 345 is in excellent condition with some light lacquer checking on the fretboard edges, nothing rough to the touch or that would affect the feel of the guitar. Includes the original case and certificate of authenticity.
