Guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan recently collaborated with Charvel to create a signature model that would encompass all his wants, needs, and desires within a guitar, and here's the net result! Guthrie chose materials and design carefully and what emerged was a guitar using a roasted basswood body with a (non-roasted) flame maple top, a bolt-on roasted flame maple neck with 24 extra jumbo frets, electronics that use custom-wound Charvel MFB pickups in a hum-sing-hum confirguration. The Guthrie Signature uses a Charvel Tremol-No bridge and Sperzel locking tuners, both of which will allow for heavy tremolo activity. This guitar is in excellent condition with no major wear to be seen on it, some light marks around the body if you look hard enough.
