Five years of experimentation after the famous '57 model culminated in another historic year for the Stratocaster. This pre-owned American Vintage Series '62 Strat recalls the vibrant and exciting times when rock and roll expanded its horizons! The Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard with a period-correct 7.25" radius. The three-ply aged white pickguard houses a set of Fender's '57/'62 pickups for that signature Strat tone. This instrument is in overall excellent condition. Please note that the tone controls were wired backwards at the factory, making the "neck" tone pot control the middle pickup and vice-versa. In the interest of factory-originality the previous owner did not modify the circuitry.
