As one of the most celebrated series in the Fender line since the "Post-CBS" days, the American Vintage line has always been known for its historical accuracy and tonal homage to the original Fender guitars of the 1950's and 1960s. Now, the American Vintage Series has been upped a notch to even more accuracy, with revoiced pickups, reformulated vintage colors, just about every detail you can think of has been examined by Fender to make the best guitar possible. In 1965, Fender saw the comeback of the thicker "C" shape maple neck, this time around with a round laminated dark rosewood fretboard and larger sized pearl dot inlays. Vintage-accurate features on the '65 Strat include enamel-covered pickup wire, a three-ply white pickguard with 11 holes, aged plastic knobs, as well as accurate bridge saddles and tuner spacing. This pre-owned guitar is in very good condition and may have small scratches, dents or other wear, but otherwise plays great and is being let go at an amazing price!
