This is a pre-owned ’58 Figured Explorer, part of the Limited Edition Benchmark series from Gibson Custom. The ’58 Explorer has a flame maple top on a mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, chunky ‘50s neck shape, and an ABR-1 bridge. The previous owner of the guitar installed a set of ThroBak SLE-101 PAF humbuckers, the PAF reproductions that put ThrowBak on the map as the company to go to when you want your guitar to sound like its straight out of the 1950’s. The guitar is in excellent shape with no major signs of wear on it, and includes the original case and certificate of authenticity.
