Used Gibson Limited Edition Custom Shop '59 Les Paul Electric Guitar Heavily Aged Slow Iced Tea Fade Item Description

When Music Zoo owner Tommy Colletti got together with Gibson Custom Shop to create a heavily relic’d ’59 Les Paul that would make you just wanna pick it up and start playing, Gibson totally delivered! This Limited Edition Gibson Custom ’59 Les Paul is heavily aged in-house to look, feel, and breath like a real player’s guitar from 1959. We love the juxtaposition of dirty aging with and absolutely stellar flame maple top; this guitar is a true beauty and a beast all in one.

This Les Paul is made with a lightweight mahogany body, figured maple cap, and mahogany neck. The neck has a custom profile that we feel is the closest to most ’59 necks ever made. A 1-piece rosewood fretboard has a 1.678” nut width and 24 7/8” scale length. The guitar maintains pure historical accuracy with period-correct cream binding, nickel Kluson Deluxe Tuners, a vintage truss rod cover, gold top hats, and a red aniline dye on the body that is just like the original. All the electronics are reissued to give you a historically accurate signal path, and two Custombuckers are 10% underwound to give you that natural, chimey sound that original ‘59’s are famous for.

All this has been heavily aged in-house at the Gibson Custom Shop and they did a masterful job. When we picked up this guitar it was hard to remember that it wasn’t actually a 54 year old guitar that’s been used and loved for all those years… This pre-owned Gibson Limited Edition Custom Shop '59 Les Paul is in overall excellent condition, and we're letting it go at an amazing price! Give us a call today!

Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, and Paperwork.
