This pre-owned reissue of the fabled 1974 model amplifier features all of the harmonically rich tones that have drawn players to Marshall amps for over 50 years! Handwired in England, the 1974x features dual EL84 power tubes putting out 18 watts of classic British tone through a 12 inch Celestion G12M-20 Greenback speaker. The ECC83 pre-amp tubes (British versions of the American 12AX7) provide fantastic drive, and the low-wattage design lets you get output tube saturation at managable volumes. But make no mistake, this amp is a true firebreather! Simple top panel controls and bridgeable inputs provide easy access to all of the Marshall tones you love, and the classic Black tolex and Grey grille cloth give this amp that classic Marshall look. This amplifier is in overall excellent condition with a small scuff in the tolex on the side and includes a slip cover.
