This is a pre-owned Martin 000-18WG, a commemorative model for folk singer and icon Woody Guthrie. Designed in collaboration with his son Arlo, the 000-18WG is a 14-fret 000 "auditorium" model inspired by the smaller bodied guitars of the pre-World War II era. The guitar is subtle in its cosmetics but big in tone with a solid spruce top and scalloped top bracing, tortoise color binding all around, and Woody’s signature inlaid above the last fret. The guitar has some light wear to the body, most notably a ding on the top lower bout – no cracks or major scratches which would compromise looks or playability of the instrument.
