Used Steve Miller Collection Eric Clapton '60 Beano Les Paul Aged and Signed Electric Guitar Antiquity Burst Item Description
When your professional career in Rock and Roll spans over forty years, you can imagine that one might accumulate a lot of guitars. When it comes to music legend Steve Miller, we mean a lot of guitars. From instruments that Steve had bought on the road, to those that were gifted from other Rock stars, to guitars that were made for charity or other special commemorations – Steve Miller and The Music Zoo are proud to present to you the Steve Miller Collection.
We’ve teamed up with Steve to “thin the herd” as we like to say, and give you the opportunity to own some very special guitars that have lots of vibe and history to them. Steve is a player as much as he is a collector, and you can be sure that these guitars are the cream of the crop when it comes to their playability. Some of these guitars have been touring guitars played by Steve, or made for him by specific builders to his specifications. Everyone one of these guitars includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Steve Miller, and attached is a picture of Steve playing that very guitar at his home studio before they arrived at The Music Zoo.
What Gibson Custom collection would have been complete without this special run from 2010? This is the aged version of the Eric Clapton ’60 Beano Les Paul, modeled after the guitar used to record the 1966 album John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton, a.k.a. "The Beano Album". This guitar is in excellent condition with minimal wear to be seen on it, and is signed by the man himself, Eric Clapton! This is number 45 out of 50 guitars that are aged and signed.
Includes: Original Custom Shop Case Silkscreened with Eric's Signature, Steve Miller Collection Certificate of Authenticity, Special Certificate of Authenticity, 22" x 17" May 5, 1966 "Beano" Comic Cover Poster, CD John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton, Vintage Replica Strap
