This guitar is a used but not abused Taylor 614ce Grand Auditorium model. With the 614ce, Taylor has updated the Sitka Spruce Top by using torrefaction, which is a roasting process that offers better resonance and responsiveness � it also provides a slightly darker, Cedar-like look. The back and sides of this guitar are constructed from Maple to provide a crisp, bright tone that perfectly complements the Spruce top. A customized bracing scheme and wood thickness brings out some new dimensions which produce enhanced warmth, balance, and sustain, while a Maple-specific bracing profile for the backs enhance responsiveness. The 614ce offers a special hand-rubbed Brown Sugar stain giving it a rich, vintage look without adding extra thickness to the finish. Another great feature is the use of protein glues for the bracing and bridge, which optimizes the sound transfer between components. A behind the saddle piezo pickup design with Expression System 2 electronics results in an amplified acoustic tone that�s simple to use, just plug and play! The guitar is in overall excellent condition, with little to no wear to be seen on it, and includes the original case.
