With the Dual Fusion, Wampler has teamed up with Tom Quayle, UK’s finest and most in demand exponent of modern fusion, to create a distortion pedal that would be specifically tailored for this highly technical, expressive genre of music. The folks at Wampler were not surprised to find that Quayle had already been using two of their distortion pedals, the Euphoria and Paisley drive, to help get the drive he was after. However this sound was not quite right, so they created a pedal that uses two independent circuits that are modified versions of these two pedals.
The result is a sound that meets the demands of a fusion player, with a fluid drive that has a tight low end and ultimate clarity between notes and strings. With the most versatile stacking/signal path options available on an analog pedal, this is the foundation of modern Fusion.
