This is a lightly used and still in overall excellent condition Yamaha Pacifica Professional in Desert Burst with a rosewood fretboard. Built with some of the latest advances in Yamaha guitar technology, the guitar offers players who want exceptional tone and feel an excellent value. The Professional is built in Japan with an alder body paired to a bolt-on maple neck with a slim "C" profile, carved neck heel joint, beveled body and stainless steel frets which will last a lifetime. This Pacifica features newly designed pickups developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs to deliver clear and articulate tones with solid lows and sparkling highs.
The Professional is the only model in this new Pacifica series to receive the special I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration) process. This proprietary technique is applied to the guitar after construction is complete - even the strings on the fretboard - to create an instrument with maximum resonance and sustain. The finishes on all of the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus and Professional guitars are all inspired by Japanese City Pop art as well as the sun-soaked environment of southern California - they're bright and vibrant guitars built to inspire the modern player!
