Earthquaker Devices Pedal Combos with Juan Alderete at The Music Zoo!
Posted on by Jordan Usatch
Juan Alderete, bass and effects pedals guru stopped by The Music Zoo recently to give us a rundown on his favorite ways to combine Earthquaker Devices effects pedals together to create original tones. Juan spoke about how there's a specific order and reason that some pedals could stack with others for certain results, such as popping the Tentacle Octave before other pedals to bring out higher registers and tighten the overall tone up...also, if you were wondering what a Taylor GS-Mini Bass sounded like with a synth pedal...we now have the answer.
Check out the video above to learn how to turn your bass or guitar into a helicopter, a synthesizer, a looped orchestra of reverbed out strings, and more!
You can also enter below to win a signed Hummingbird Tremolo pedal that Juan used in this video!
