The long-awaited John Frusciante '62 Stratocaster replica built by Masterbuilder Paul Waller at the Fender Custom Shop has finally landed and there's no one to present it better at The Music Zoo than Frusciante super-fan Jordan. Join us as Jordo takes us through the history of John Frusciante's iconic 1962 Strat which he has played throughout his career with Red Hot Chili Peppers and his own solo music!
This is the very first signature instrument for Frusciante, ever. Paul Waller has recreated the look and feel of the instrument down to every nick, ding and wear pattern - especially its signature pick wear around the neck pickup area. The guitar features a flat lam rosewood fretboard, three custom-wound Josefina Campos '60s Strat pickups and the Illitch Hum-Canceling system built into the backplate for quieter operation - helpful for John when playing stadiums and arenas around the world.
