A vintage-inspired artist SG for the modern player
The new Gibson Custom Shop Brian Ray ’62 SG Junior builds on the popularity of Brian's other signature Gibson instruments. The White Fox finish on this example is sure to become the pet-name for this SG - but Gibson and Brian did not stop at simple outward appearances. Paired with the classic dog-ear P-90 pickup is a new "induction coil" circuit, which reduces single coil noise and interference without impacting the uncompressed and raw tone of the pickup. Plus, the clever convertible bridge design gives players the choice between an ABR-1, wrap-tail, or a Vibrola tremolo. The solid mahogany body is also slightly thicker than a normal SG. The custom inlays and classy inlaid ebony tailpiece complete this package.
