Godin Guitars First-Ever Acoustic Line Revealed!
Godin Guitars Debut Acoustic Line to feature "Metropolis", "Fairmount", and "Rialto" Models
With a proclaimed 2-years in the making, Godin has announced their first-ever acoustic line, set to display at NAMM 2019! Godin Guitars owner, Simon Godin, says “The Godin brand has a strong reputation of quality and is firmly established in the guitar market. This made the task of creating a new line of acoustic guitars that much easier. This project was my chance to create something that expressed my vision for the future of the company. These are my dream acoustic guitars.”
Godin Acoustic Line Features
The new line will feature three models: the Metropolis (dreadnought size), the Fairmount (concert hall size), and the Rialto (parlor body size). Premium tonewoods will be used, including Rosewood or Mahogany for the back and sides, and solid Spruce or Cedar for select tops. The Metropolis and Fairmount models are equipped with LR Baggs Anthem electronics and the Rialto is amplified with the Q-Discrete preamp. The guitar will also feature re-imagined body bracing, stunning inlays and a set of all-new finishes; Satina Gray and Havana Burst.
