G2622T Streamliner Tone
The G2622T Streamliner can still provide classic Gretsch rockabilly tones, but with the addition of the spruce center block and the new higher output BT-2S humbuckers, this baby can really push some air! It boasts more tonal thickness, tighter bass response, a more aggressive midrange, glassy and airy highs, and a ton of clarity. These pickups may be high output, but they are still plenty dynamic and clear sounding.
G2622T Streamliner Feel
The G2622T boasts a "Thin U" neck shape which is a familiar shape for any Gretsch player, but also easy to get used to if you're coming from another guitar. The 12" radius offers a perfect middle ground feel to the fingerboard, matching the guitar's versatility.
Why We Like It
The Gretsch Streamliner G2622T is putting Gretsch back on the table as a great choice for playing most genres of music. The new powerful humbuckers and feedback resistance truly increase it's usefulness in any setting, without losing the vintage vibe that Gretsch is renowned for. The Bigsby vibrato on this one is also a nice touch!
