Ibanez Unveils TS808 40th Anniversary Pedal & the TSV808 in Collaboration with Venuram!
The new TS808 40th Anniversary pedal retains all of the well known and popular features that have made the TS808 so successful over the past 40 years, such as a JRC4558D IC chip and full analog circuitry. It also preserves the familiar tone, overdrive, and level control layout. It is offered in a special limited Ruby Red finish and is the first ever Tube Screamer offered in this unique finish. The TS808 40th Anniversary Edition represents a special opportunity for enthusiasts of the Tube Screamer and its history to own a distinctive version of this renowned overdrive pedal.
Ibanez TSV808 is revealed with high-end boutique pedal manufacturer from Japan
Ibanez also announced the latest addition to its venerable series of Tube Screamers. The TSV808 was developed in collaboration with Vemuram, a high-end boutique pedal manufacturer from Japan. Vemuram pedals have caught the attention of the market for their unique brass enclosures. However, their reputation is built largely on their tone, proven by their roster of high-profile artists, such as Michael Landau, Mateus Asato and many more. The TS808 style chassis is colored in a blended tone of brass and a dark shade of green. The location of the control knobs is the same as TS808, from left to right, Drive, Tone and Level. The maximum volume is also set 7db higher than the original Tube Screamer. Aesthetically, the design exhibits the signature elements of both Ibanez and Vemuram.
