Riding off of the very successful PRS SE Mark Holcomb model, comes this new and exciting 7-string version Marks guitar! With two unique finish options and a bevy of specs that make the guitar a fine-tuned instrument, this is a guitar that fans of the band as well as any 7-string player will find a joy to play.
PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Holcomb Burst Details
The first of the two guitars is finished in the same Holcomb Burst we've seen on the six string version. It has a satin finished neck for a fast feel, quilt maple veneer, and Marks own signature Seymour Duncan Alpha/Omega humbuckers. The 26.5" scale length on these guitars really keeps the tension of the low tunings you might want to use in check. No strings will flop out during those heavy palm mutes or chugging open-string parts!

PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Walnut Top Satin Details
The second iteration of the SVN model features a walnut top veneer and an all-satin finish around the guitar for a natural feel that shows off all the beauty of the wood. The specs otherwise stay the same, with Marks Alpha/Omega pickups and the 26.5" scale length!

We loved seeing this video from PRS giving an in-depth tour of their SE factory in Surabaya, Indonesia. You can really see how much attention and care is given to every guitar made there - almost just as much by hand as you'd see in their Maryland factory! It's no surprise after seeing this informational video how well the SE Series has done in being embraced by guitar players of all levels from beginner to professional.
