Zoo Review/Giveaway: Lamb of God Performs at The Paramount in Huntington, NY!

When Lamb of God, Clutch, and Corrosion of Conformity announce a tour together, you make sure you find a way there! Luckily this killer lineup made a stop this past Tuesday night at The Paramount in Huntington, NY – just minutes from our showroom!

Prior to the show, The Music Zoo got the chance to check out Mark Morton’s killer Jackson guitar rig, which includes his signature Jackson USA Custom Pro Series Dominion, Mesa Boogie Mark IV amps, and just the necessary amount of MXR and Dunlop Pedals. We were then treated to two blistering opening sets, first by Pepper Keenan (playing through a wall of Orange Amplifiers and ESP Guitars) and Corrosion of Conformity, who also announced plans for a new album later this year – and then by Frederick, MD’s best rock and roll export – Clutch. Lamb of God took care of the end of the night, pummeling the audience with riff after riff including the classic tunes “Walk With Me in Hell”, “512” and “Laid to Rest”.

We’d like to thank Lamb of God, The Paramount and our ticket giveaway winner Dawn Zacharakis from Long Island for making this a killer night of heavy riffs that we won’t forget!
