This is a vintage 1978 Yamaha SA1000 Super Axe model, built in Japan during the height of Japan's premium craftsmanship era, often outperforming their American counterparts from that time. The guitar has a laminate maple body, two Yamaha humbuckers with their own volume and tone controls, and a tune-o-matic bridge. For those looking for a great-playing ES-style guitar - you can't go wrong with something like this! It's in overall great condition with just light playwear around the body.
