This is a used Fender Marcus Miller signature J-Bass with an Olympic White finish. The bass is still in overall very good condition with just some light wear and includes a strap with strap locks and a hardshell case! With a resume of session work that totals over 500 albums, including luminaries like Michael Jackson, Miles Davis and even Billy Idol, Marcus Miller's distinct bass playing can be heard virtually in every style of music. With such a prolific body of work, it's no surprise that a collaboration between Miller and Fender would result in such a sleek-looking, versatile sounding Jazz bass. The Marcus Miller Signature Jazz bass bears all the classic marks of the J-bass style, amped up with some really exciting features. Boasting a soulful, warm tone, this bass has an aftermarket John East Marcus Retro pre-amp installed so you can really cut through the mix for a more treble sound, or crank up the bass for a nice, thick low end, depending on your style and needs. The original pre-amp electronics are included in the case.
