This is the long-awaited second signature Kelly for the incredibly talented Brandon Ellis, now with a Gold Crackle finish and updated specs! The guitar is built of a resonant nyatoh body with a through-construction one-piece maple neck, a fast 12-16" radius with 27 stainless steel frets and a unique 25.1" scale length as per Ellis' request. There's a Brandon Ellis Signature Dyad Parallel Axis humbucker from Seymour Duncan paired with a PA-STK neck pickup. Dyad Parallel Axis bridge pickup—a high-output humbucker featuring unique hybrid coil design with singular bar magnet that delivers wide open, dynamic sound with increased clarity and bite under high gain distortion. The Seymour Duncan PA-STK neck pickup provides hum-free clarity with smooth sustain for melodic passages.

A push-pull volume control with series/parallel functionality switches the wiring of the bridge humbucker’s coils (Dyad) from series to parallel. The series option offers a traditional humbucker sound and the parallel option a brighter, slightly lower output sound while retaining the hum-cancelling feature. The top-mount Gotoh GE1996T double-locking tremolo system delivers superior tuning stability during aggressive tremolo use.
