This is the heavy-hitting PRS Mark Holcomb signature SE SVN 7-String with a Holcomb Burst finish over a quilt maple top veneer. The guitar has been updated for 2022 with a shallow violin top carve just as the SE Custom 24 and SE Paul's Guitar feature. It really accents the shape of a PRS body beautifully!
When Periphery needs to go the extra mile of tuning low – Mark reaches for this SVN both in the studio and on stage for adding that extra B-string.
The guitar has an extra inch in the scale length to make it a 26.5” scale – which helps for down tuning and keeping the tension on the lowest string in check, that it doesn’t flub out. More specs for fast playing include a 20” radius ebony fretboard and a Wide Thin neck profile. The guitar also has Marks own Alpha/Omega signature humbucker set from Seymour Duncan loaded in right out of the box!
