The American Performer Telecaster Hum also features Greasebucket™ tone circuitry that lets you shape your highs without adding bass, and a coil-tap for single-coil neck tones!

American Performer Telecaster Hum Tone
All your favorite quacky Tele tones with the modern upgrades of a push-pull pot on the tone control, where you can coil tap the humbucker for crystal clear single-coil neck tones. This is great for thinning out the rhythm tones and letting you get some great funk sounds. The American Performer also has a Greasebucket tone system, letting you roll down on volume to clean up, but without muddying up the tone with too much bass. It's features like these two that make it no wonder Fender calls this the American Performer: it has everything you need to get the tone you want on stage!
