Fender JMJ Justin Meldal-Johnsen Signature Roadworn Mustang Bass
Posted on by Peter Mendola
One of 5 new Fender artist signature models unveiled at Summer NAMM '17, this Justin Meldal-Johnsen Roadworn Mustang Bass is an impressive tool with a ton of vintage vibe -and it's now heading to The Music Zoo!
Justin Meldal-Johnsen is an accomplished session player and producer with credits ranging from Nine Inch Nails and Beck, to Jimmy Eat World and Paramore. He is a true modern multi-genre instrumentalist and producer.
This JMJ Bass is part of the popular Fender Road Worn platform, and is directly inspired by Justin's original 1966 Mustang Bass in Daphne Blue. This faithful reissue boasts a relic job that exactly mirrors his original bass. It's loaded with a punchy split-coil pickup, and the short 30" scale provides a focused and clear tone.
