The Music Zoo gained behind the scenes access to the incredible Jim Irsay Collection coming up for auction at Christie's Auction House in New York City! Join us for a full-length tour of the top iconic guitars coming up for sale from some of the biggest names in rock and roll.
In addition, we were able to speak to some specialists on Christie's team about a few important pieces like the Cobain Mustang, David Gilmour's Black Strat and Martin D-35 - as well as Eric Clapton's Martin 000-42 (which rose to fame from his industry changing MTV Unplugged performance.)
Additional highlights include the Neal Schon Les Paul Deluxe that he used to record Don't Stop Believing, Billie Joe Armstrong's "Chip" Les Paul Junior, Dusty Hill's Sheepskin Bass used in the "Legs" video, Prince's famous Cloud Guitar and much more!
It was an incredible opportunity to see many of our all-time favorite guitars up-close, and just as important that we show them to you online if you weren't able to attend the public tours!
