The D-16E's neck features a Martin's Modified Low Oval profile with Performing Artist taper, designed specifically with performing guitarists in mind. For your playing pleasure, the ebony fingerboard is buffed to silky smoothness and the frets are dressed to perfection using a Plek Pro machine for optimized playability. The neck is comfortable to play, and strumming chords or picking a few small lines are both equally welcomed on the D-16E.
