PRS S2 Singlecut Tone
The bridge pickup is vibrant with a slight high-end sparkle and grounded low end, while the neck pickup brings a darker palette of tones providing a great balance of modern and vintage sounds in one instrument. We think these sound best through the PRS Sonzera amplifiers with a low gain overdrive in front for a bit of grit, but the S2 welcomes tonal exploration with its mid-output pickups.
Why We Like It
The S2 Singelcut isnt super high output, which gives you more freedom to shape your tone. Plug into an overdrive and you'll be met with well-rounded and organic rock tones without sacrificing the punch or clarity found in higher-output guitars.

Check out the PRS S2 Custom 22 if you desire a bit more versatility from your instrument and slightly higher output from your pickups. The S2 Custom 22 sports a PRS tremolo, 85/15 "S" treble and bass pickups, and a push/pull coil tap on the tone control for a more versatile vintage tone.
