Supro David Bowie Dual Tone Reissue Hardtail to be Limited and Hand-Numbered!
Supro is proud to introduce the David Bowie 1961 Dual Tone Reissue. One of two Supro Dual Tone guitars owned and loved by Bowie, this hard-tail version was the first Dual Tone that David acquired, just prior to recording his "Reality" album.
The guitar features a Mahogany body with a tummy cut and ergonomic neck joint. A reverse stair step tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, and butterfly tulip tuning pegs make up the hardware. Tone is driven by a matched set of period-correct Vistatone pickups.The first batch of four hundred David Bowie 1961 Dual Tone reissue guitars will be released on January 8th, 2019 in honor of David’s birthday. Each instrument is numbered by hand and comes with a Supro deluxe gig bag and signed certificate of authenticity.
